Temper Tantrum, this performing/recording project, is an abrasive and abnormal form of sound meditation I have found to seek catharsis and lament the truth of what I know about this world: that it is broken and we need God's salvation. I rejoice in his awesomeness and promise of restoration, but I also lament as I wait in a world plagued by pain. No matter how menacing or visceral these candid lamentations may come across, I think the brokenness of the world and the brokenness of myself (which I think is overtly evident in these recordings) only highlights the truth of how awesome the gospel really is.
