As my plans to release these recorded pieces drew near, I reflected on the title of the work "The Wicked Should Be Fearful" and I had to wonder if I might possibly be painting to abrasive a picture of the God I believe in. After reflecting on it several times I decided I wasn't going to water down the abrasive nature of this music or its message, because I think its true. I will acknowledge however that a statement like "The Wicked Should Be Fearful" bothered me because I was afraid it played into that "How can a good God send people to Hell?" thing which is such a big issue for so many of us, even Christians. My own opinion on this, put concisely, is that God does not send anyone to Hell. Hell is the nature of what we are without God. When we choose to reject God, we choose Hell.
